Uploader Not Working

This problem has surfaced recently. Photos that have edited in Photoshop and saved in either PS jpg format or Windows Picture Viewer jpg format will not upload any more on the forum's gallery uploader. Even pictures that I haven't opened in Photoshop and edited in the native Windows Picture editor won't upload anymore.

When I choose a file it will not complete the upload. Just cycles and does not proceed to the second step.

No, not that. I have done the same thing for years and never had a problem now it simply does not work. I have tried opening TD in Chrome and IE. Same result.

As I explained, only photos that I have edited/downsized are a problem. If I download something from the internet and leave it as it is, it uploads no problem. But if I alter the file, ie. resize it, it will not upload.

I resized that one using the InfranView viewer, then uploaded it to the forum. Are you sure the format you're saving in is jpg?

I tried uploading in Imagur and had the same problem. Something is preventing my photos from being uploaded after they are edited. Maybe a security issue. Virus?

Tried it. Same problem. Something in my files that I am editing is preventing uploading.
Very frustrating.

stop using windows photo editor picture viewwer

download irfanview - just don't install the toolbars

and when you save - remove all the identifying metadata and exif tags

It's not just editing I am finding out. Now, if I save an image from google image to my desk top without doing anything to it, it will not upload. Strangely, old photos in by pictures files will upload. It seems like extra data is being added and not by me.

I have been blocking some of the hosting sites because people want to post un resized photos from their 20 gigapixel camera

then some numbnuts quotes the photos - or line of photos

so - I can do wthout seeing them and not feel I have missed anything important

I dunno snapping a pic with my iPhone is about 5MB. Uploaded to imgur with no resizing at all and linking here produces this.

Yup. It's nothing I'm doing. I am very competent with handling digital images. Something is fucked. Last week I was getting alerts from my computer saying I did not have permission from the computer administrator to can some files in the recycle bin. I am the computer administrator. Something is fuked.

Cant help with a PC problem. Ive been on Mac computers since the 3Gs iPhone and haven't had to deal with this kind of thing in forever. Update & restart usually solves all my problems and I leave my stuff running for weeks without shutting down.

Once you get your PC issue fixed, look into imgur instead of TD gallery.

I usually kick my PC. Sometimes works but if not I feel better.
Try this. Download a pic from your gallery. Do nothing to. The try upload back to gallery.
If still fucked your PC is definately the culprit.

^Did that, didn't upload. I need a new hard drive I think. Always something. This week; pump, aircon, pc...and it's only Wednesday.
