Just takes some learning.
re: the new lineup: I don't think movie buffs will suffer. These are the major film studios:
- 20th Century Fox - now owned by 21st Century Fox.
- Columbia Pictures - now owned by Sony.
- MGM (Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer).
- Paramount Pictures - now owned by Viacom.
- RKO Radio Pictures - defunct c. 1957.
- United Artists - purchased by MGM.
- Universal Studios - now a part of NBC Universal.
- Warner Bros. - now Time Warner.
The ones missing from the new lineup are MGM/UA and Universal. But HBO does not have exclusive long-term contracts with those studios either. Starz has MGM/UA and Showtime has Universal. To offset that there's another Fox channel in the new lineup.
Then the biggest complaint for me is the replacement of the Red (Asian) movie channel with the Celestial channel bc all of the movies on Red were sub-titled and most are not on the Celestial channel.
I'm pretty sure, also, that TV buffs mourn the loss of HBO's originals.

Go to battle with class action lawsuit startup 'FongDi'
Kaewta Ketbungkan
Khao Sod English
BANGKOK — For dropping a bomb on its customers by announcing they could no longer get HBO and its affiliates on short notice, TrueVisions could be the first company to face a class-action lawsuit brought through recently launched legal startup FongDi.
Winter came ahead of season for Thailand’s “Game of Thrones” fans Jan. 1 when the satellite television operator replaced its 6 HBO channels with Warner TV, Paramount Channel HD, Celestial Classic Movies, Food Network, Fox Action Movies HD, Sony Channel and True Film HD 2 after it failed to renegotiate its licensing deals.
The news was broken Dec. 26 by the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications, which gave TrueVisions the green light despite the fact it violated regulations by not giving 30 days notice.

TrueVisions wants to cancel 11 more channels | Bangkok Post: news
Chicken and Egg?
People are cancelling True because of the crap lineup, constant repeats and constant channel promotions. Instead they are going to Kodi where you can watch almost anything on demand.
As a result, True cancel even more, show even more repeats, etc.
Which drives more people to Kodi.
They are on a hiding to nothing, not that I have any sympathy for them.
Who owns True Visions?
Is it Chinese owned?
^If they jack the subscription rates up because they're losing customers, there's Thai's involved for sure.
Specto, Exodus both have more content that Trueshite and they aren't riddled with channel promos either.

I have a few questions for our tech savvy members living in Thailand.
I have a notebook PC that is connected to the internet via an AIS Aircard because there is no broadband where I live. I also have a smart phone and an i pad. I have a Chromecast device connected to my TV and i pad which can play content from that device. I download torrents from my notebook and sometimes transport them to the TV via a usb device.
I would like to buy a wireless router using the usb port to plug in the Aircard, instead of directly into the notebook, and receive the wifi connection. Is that possible? I want to use the wireless router to connect the notebook to the Chromecast device so I can play the torrent content on the TV. Is that possible?
What is not clear to me is if the aircard should be plugged into the notebook and the notebook connected to the router via an ethernet cable or should the aircard be plugged into the router directly? Which configuration is correct if any.
