Maybe you could project onto the smog in March

They are not hot odds on favourites for no reason mate.

Should be a rout if its not just their reputation preceding them and making them those skinny odds. Of which you've reasoned and shown the stats to prove is not the case.
Although one off games, n80 minutes, pressure, luck.... Stick a few quid on England and it'll take some of the pain away or the draw at 25-1 just in case it does go like that CWC

Anyway back to those projectors, I think 100 inches is overkill in a house and as Sid said earlier in the thread just move your sofa closer to your 32inch

Estimate that I'm currently around 60 cm from the 55 inch.

Just asked MM to get the measuring tape from the toolbox and grab another beer while there.

Fortunately the sproglette has more manners and will be back with them both of them in a few minutes.

    Here is Bogon Tip #693

Forget about the size, go for response time on the remote.

Bought 2 4k smart TV's in the last few weeks (both Samsung and 55" for downstairs and one of the bedrooms). I made a mistake of being sucked in on the specs of size, features, and stuff.

The 1st one I got was all singing all dancing, but the remote response is far slower than the 2nd one I got for a few grand cheaper.

Basically, be a nerd and try then out in shop.

It may be only less than a second slower, but believe me, it makes all the difference when surfing Netflix, Youtube and the like.
    Black diamonds? I shit 'em.

Who uses the supplied remotes? That is for sheeple.

Buy a logitech harmony. Problem solved.

Wireless keyboard and mouse, separate 5.1 sound systems, only use the remote to turn the TVs on and off.

Though imagine any sort of lag anywhere along the line is seriously annoying.

Not quite as annoying as being a starving African child, doing Life Without Parole in Supermax for some you didn't do, or getting an undeserved red, of course, but annoying none the less.

I was gonna say a Lazy boy with fridge is a much better investment than these projectors... Although never needed one with Dillette

    Aged 2...

    If Carlsberg made Lazyboys

...or a Thai wife who still has no idea what types of fuel the cars take (or even what side to fill them on) after 10 years of driving?

I actually have a wireless keyboard, but still use the standard remote to power it up and choose what I want (Netflix,YouTube), and then switch to the keyboard.

It still doesn't change the TV response time.

Funnily enough it was my Thai wife who showed me there is an arrow on the fuel level display on the dashboard which has an arrow and shows you what side your tank is on.

    Apparently it's on all cars

There's a Bogon Tip for you

^ Told her that years ago, but her brain didn't process it.

Gone through a few motors the past few years and she can't remember which takes gasahole E20, 95 and Diesel.

    ...and an LPG motor too!

    We use them differently.

I use them only as monitor connected to a PC, which the other stuff is connected to, and not as a smart TV.

^ Loath to admit it, but the fatboy is correct.

Every car has a pic of a petrol pump (near the speedo) with a small arrow pointing in the direction to fill up.

Ditto. I've gotten accustomed to a warm fuzzy view of things lately. Clarity is totally over-rated.
