Bang for Bucks Android Tablet

The old Acer aspire laptop has seen better days.
The plastic body is disintegrating with another piece breaking off weekly , it overheats ,the screen flops down , the power cable has 3 bodgy repairs and last night the screen finally came off its hinges , so , what to do ?
I use Microsoft office apps , emails , and plug it into the not very clever tv to watch movie downloads.
What Im after is an 8-10 inch android or windows platform tablet that can plug straight into the square eye with a hdmi cable.
Don't want to frig around with adapters and such , just plug and play , do my office shit , watch movies and play a few games.
Budget 8,000b.

You can have my HP 8" tablet, cost $99 and came with MS Office for a year - I've been using it as a doorstop and general weight.

Does everything I need with windows 10 and a solid build.
I couldn't find anything for the price that had a mini hdmi port for plug and play.

Good enough specs , good price and hasn't had any issues , this week at least.
