^ 28 Days Later... (2002) is a EXCELLENT zombie flick! Basically a crazy virus has made GB in to a zombie infested mess!

The sequel looks AWESOME! I'm going to try & check it out on the BIG screen.

    ^^some alki program no doubt

the writer was the bloke who did "The Beach" - which is enough of a reason for me to give it a wide miss

^not really. these days I rarely turn the box on other than to watch the BBC (sometimes I do watch CNN but I'll always switch to the BBC to verify the facts)

That said, I hear the new Spiderman 3 is good - but I doubt it'll be my cup of tea

The Beach was a pile! 28 Days Later is much better!

Actually the 28 Days plot is much more believable than The Beach plot & 28 Days is a zombie movie! The character development in 28 Days Later was excellent! You really pulled for them!

Usually I'm not a HUGE horror film fan, but this one was really well executed! IMHO.

I thought that the first film was excellent....I do hope this isn't a let down like so many sequels.

In no form or way could any moive, even the Godfather parts I and II, be labelled "Awesome".

Did anyone see the Exorcist 2. The first one had me sleeping with the lights on for a month, the follow-up was about as scary as Garfield.

I reckon this sequel may be a gore-fest and little more....but I may be wrong, I often am.

I hope not Danbo. I am really looking forward to this. It would be a shame if they have gone down the gore fest avenue. The trailer looks good so with any luck they won't have.

I'm going to be watching it with the headphones on in the dark when I get to DL it.

    Spidermans or 28 days later.

The thread is being derailed by bloody miserable bastard "I like period dramas only" William.

Spiderman was ok. Spiderman 2 was a load of arse.

^28 days later, I thought it was OK, but not worth watching a second time, but maybe I missed something.

I preferred "Shawn of the Dead"

See Shawn of the Dead was shite. Absolute and utter pure shite. I did find it amusing that the two main characters were in Romeroes next film though as extras.

Still it was fucking rubbish. I don't really like the main actor in it.

Simon Pegg - I thought that he was v.good in the tele comedy Spaced, but I wasn't impressed with Shaun of the Dead - maybe I missed the horror film references.

What I liked about 28 Days Later was the realism - very well done I thought. I fear the story n the sequel (through to ending) will be evident from the first five minutes. I mean, does it 'need' a sequel? Or is it a case of, well the first one made money, let's milk it. I look forward to the first reviews on TD.

28Weeks Later is very anti-yank - I'm sure that will please many. Anyways has Robert Carlyle which speaks well for it.
