    Your fave Black Sabbath song?

I know all the "greatest hits", and that's about it. I'm looking for a Sabbath song that is great, but flew under the radar so to speak. All great bands have songs like this- those wonderful songs that were overlooked...any suggestions? What are your favorites?

    In Order

    Sabbath Bloody Sabbath

    Symptom Of The Universe

    Children Of The Grave

    Snowblind

    Never Say Die

    Fairies Wear Boots

Probably all on a Greatest Hits album, but I don't know how much you know.

Certainly not War Pigs, Paranoid or Iron Man.

Thank you Bobcock! I'll check those out :-) ^^ Sweet Leaf I know already- a good tune, and Fairies Wear Boots (actually my favorite one). NIB also.

My mate who is Sabbath mad (he and my brother used to travel around watching them in the early / mid 70's) reckons it is really far and away above his expectations.

Due to drugs, never really got much past this cut, the first on the first album (in Canada anyway)... played it over and over then lost interest completely a month or so later:

My favourite was on the b side of the number 1 hit single paranoid cant remember the name of it began with a mouth organ + drum was really heavy , used to stick on the old juke box in the pub with all me skinhead clobber ,, used to confuse the clan but they kinda got into it.

Yep, back in the day The wizard was quite a sought after track.

Eventually the record company sussed this out and included it on the first Sabbath compilation "We Sold Our Soul for Rock n Roll" to sell more copies.

I've just realised that the first and only time I saw Sabbath which was Ozzy's last UK gig was 35 years ago today or tomorrow, not 100% sure if it was the 18th or 19th June 1978.

A vastly underrated album - Technical Ecstasy - is well worth a listen.

I still bang it on occasionally, and am always glad i did (unlike the neighbours).

Produced in the mid-seventies, so it's real rock.

Heaven & Hell and Mob Rules beat anything Ozzy did with them.

But, the one I listen to more than any other is Seventh Star (really an Iommi solo album).

Prefer living Midgets to dead ones. They smell less (unless they've been eating Isaan 'food').

Favourite Sabbath song that went uner the radar ? - 'Changes', it was a b-side back in the seventies and still stands out a class today.
