Only 1 way to find out try 1 of these apps.
5 Apps to Check the Speed of Your USB Flash Drive (Windows)
4 brand new sticks of 2 different makes..........no luck.
done more checking, although the problem files show up on the sticks, and seem to be of the correct size, gb wise, the player loads up on the screen, but says duration 0, that is, zero, seconds...........there ain't nothing there.
bottom line is, pc says memory stick has the video, player says its an empty shell.
Is the USB slot that you are inserting the USB stick in wonky? Try using a different slot. Sounds like a file transfer problem to me.
Will try later and report back. Thanks, good idea.
