If anyone has downloaded a .3gp file recently then apparently it was an April Fools joke.

All you need to do is edit the file name and change the .3gp to .avi or .mp4 and the file should play on your tv or media player.

At the same file size, MP4 files have a better video quality then AVI files. A friend that runs a tracker claims they are faster, smaller and better resolution. That sounds like a good thing for everyone. The best part is now you can drag and drop .mp4 and .3gp files into iTunes with no conversion.. and play on your tv via airplay and apple tv.
