    Dinner

Like the "Breakfast" thread, this "Dinner" thread provides an avenue to post pictures of what we have either made for dinner or ordered out at a restaurant for dinner.

Tonight, Tuesday, 13 Sept 2011, I had a house salad with a combo of iceberg and romaine lettuce, tomatoes & bacon bits with Italian dressing , dried spice rubbed pork ribs, and a Belgium cherry beer. Simple but tasty.

What did you have for dinner?

My missus is a great cook but tonight she did me chips, egg and beans and it wasn't up to her ferral stuff.

Unfortunately I didn't get a photo of it but I might catch it tomorrow.

Potato Chips were all gone. Are you familiar with Utz's or Middleworth's Potato Chips? Oh, maybe not,,,, local home brands now either one of those BBQ Chips would have fit in nicely.

Actually, I didn't even drink this single beer. I've been saving myself for next time I'm in the neighborhood of Little Venice. But the meal was good.

Here is something that looked like the eggs, chips and beans that I had last night - except the spouse made an omelette instead of frying the eggs as instructed.

If it was breakfast it would have mushrooms, fried bread, tomatoes, black pudding, bacon, sausages and a sprig of parsley also on the plate.

Not sure what I'm eating tonight yet but I'll try and get a photo of it and report back.

Yes it is what I ate at a small cafe near my house. 80 baht for the cordon bleu, roasted potatoes and salad.

SEA, that is salad and was terrible. Although they do have a delicious coleslaw you can order.

The wife got a tuna salad. She would have like it more if it did not have the Thai dressing on it.

Here is my CB before I demolished it.

Exactly, I know what you mean about the Thai "cream" dressing. If the tuna salad was room temp, I would have suggested a little plain oil and vinegar based Italian dressing. Otherwise, looks good.

n&j, I have to say that I ate up all the noodles the evening before so there were none left for last evenings meal. I do like my carbs though and my mature waistline is a clear demonstration of my enjoyment of the carbs. looking forward to your pics of the evening meal.

I like the sound of the pork and the roast garlic mashed potatoes. I may decide on mashed potatoes of some sort this evening. looking forward to some of your dinner pics.

This is what I had tonight... Pickled onions Isaan style.

Spring onions soaked in some oil and coconut water. Followed by a mouthful of M & Ms.
