The only time I have tried yellow fin tuna was when I caught one whilst fishing off the coast of Mauritius and had it prepared by some locals for eating.

Absolutely delicious and the kids at the orphanage thought so as well as most of the fish went to them.

That's one for my bucket list LT!

Would love to catch one, then bbq it.

    Fresh as it comes.

^ I used to work a lot in West Africa where HSE wasn't as officious as in the North Sea. This allowed the Filipino deck hands to discreetly catch tuna during the nightshift and we regularly feasted on fresh tuna steaks and freshly baked whole tuna. I've never tasted it so good since.

Couldn't be any good at that price could it?

    Dinner-20230322_164238-jpg

Pretty damn good! But, there's better for not a lot more money available around town.

    Dinner-20230322_182108-jpg

The flavour was really good though, would definitely buy more of these to use in a braise or stew where they'd be just perfect.

Fuck that's pretty reasonable price. The price of food in Oz is out of control not only meat, veggies etc. Covid seems to be in the rear vision mirror. But I'm fucking sure when visiting offices etc to try to get shit done and it takes ages, there still using the excuse, oh sorry staff shortages, I'm calling bullshit on that. They have simply figured out they can get away with less staff on the books while working the coont out of the ones they have.all those lockdowns I guess? In some cases it's given them a reason to clean out the dead wood.its expensive here I reckon a lot of people are struggling. Fuels still near $2.00 a litre

Pretty thinly cut for a rib eye, IMHO. Cooked properly as always HW.

If tattles is mashed potato, then yes.
Mince beef, onion, garlic browned then pour a can of mushroom soup in. Simmer for 10 mins and ready to eat.

^They were fantastic. From Tinnies, and I think the pie was 175 and the sausage roll 100 but am not sure about that.

    The pie filling looks decent.

They must have the apprentices on the sausage rolls this week tho.

    Pricey too.

    ^^ That looks good Stumpy.

There's not mush room left on that plate! (an old mushroom farm joke).

So you put Rosemary on a steak? I've always associated Rosemary with lamb.

I use Rosemary on many dishes. Pork chops, various Italian food, steaks. A very nice herb. I also like Thyme on many dishes
