Yeah..I fully understand. I also think I do that because the end cut is always huge and you know I like my cuts on Tenderloin and Ribeye at least 1.5 to 2" thick because they always have much better flavor. Some places that do a paper thin cut they just do not work for me. They maybe med rare but little to no flavor.

    Cheers

Well today is my wife's 50th B day. We had planned on going out however her niece is quite ill and she went to stay with her in the hospital while her Mom worked. So I said I would Q up some chops and veggies.

I had it all waiting about the time she arrived home.

You have this selective ability to ignore the real feedback, misinterpret the sarcastic ones as positive and get all happy about your erm, cooking.

I did mate, a couple of nights later. The wife rarely touches my cooking and even the daughter seems to be showing some resistance lately.

It was a bit of leftovers fusion last night. To be honest I think I've taken stuffed peppers about as far as I can.

It took some time to open the bottle of wine. After trying to unsuccessfully unscrew the top for several minutes I finally realised that I'd mistakenly splashed out on a bottle with a cork. It brought back some memories. I thought the 7-Eleven girl must have short-changed me but obviously this Cab Sav must have cost a few bob.

Cooked like a steak, tasted like a steak with a beefy fish taste.
Yellow fin tuna steaks, not bad..
