And don't forget the 2 or 3 cans of peas so carefully laid out around the meal.

No-one eats canned peas these days.

I'm considering a trip to see my sister in Leicester. You've got to hand it to the Jocks - oi Diggler, you need to have a crack at making a Doner Kebab pie

^ Red Leicester is one of my favourite cheeses. I have a very old friend from Stoke (yeah, I know...) and many years ago he introduced me to this breakfast with oat cakes and this cheese sauce baked in the oven... and I'm sure he used Red Leicester.

I could be wrong of course.

    How the Mighty can fall.

Sorry PAG, but I can't maintain that standard for more than one night on the trot.

Tonight I finished up early, over imbibed, and despite it being a Friday night...

    Nothing wrong with Stoke

I concur, red Leicester is my first choice .

I'm looking forward to this pepper taste test!!!

There is a noticeable difference between yellow, red and green.

Only the uncultured taste buds of Headworx et al could not differenciate

He got banned from different sub forums untill there were none to get banned from.

Think he couldn't be bothered after that.

I may not be the perfect husband at times but I am the perfect son.

My elderly mum calls me from the UK on Whatsapp maybe twice a week, always at the same time and always just as I have put my meal down on the table.

    "Is it a good time?"

    "Yeah, all good mum!"

The daughter eats her meal as I watch mine go cold.

But, just to dispel the myth that my dogs are badly behaved... last night I chatted to my mum as my pork chop cooled on the replacement coffee table while my daughter munched into hers up on her pc while playing with friends. Modern life, I guess.

And the dogs completely ignored my cooling food.

Apple Sauce doesn't microwave well, but sometimes such measures are unavoidable.

    I love these guys.

(and yes, I had to stick out my gut to support my laptop for the photo)

Damn, you’re brave posting that photo. I fear Cryille might tell you your gym equipment is broken again.

On a completely separate note the pork chop looks good, shame about the field of peas obscuring it.

The billy kids and I had a lamb lasagna since the missus was out (she hates lamb). It doesn’t look a master piece but I thought it tasted good. However my partners in crime both said it was ok but nothing special! Bladdy buggers. wonder why I bother!
