I should imagine your night vision is pretty good after consuming all them spiced carrots, I should imagine that's a blessing when you need to unload that wild salmon in the early hours

Well lemme tell ya Joe, I have excellent vision and do not wear glasses or contacts. 5 basic rules to good health. Eat carrots, take a multi B vitamins, enjoy a good Bourbon, stay away from doctors and knock off a good round with the wife. The simple keys to live a GREAT life..

    ^They look amazing.

    Went prawn fishing, caught prawns:

Almost 40, including the 9 we took home after catching them while we ate these.

    Good haul.

Tonight grilled up my last bone in Prime rib.

Sear on high for 3 mins a side.

Moved to the grill and reduced heat to 350 F

The Au Jus to make up the gravy for the tater

Bit of flour, some seasonings and ready to go

Dinner as served. Enjoyed it with a nice Hefe and a show on the pool bar TV.

What time do you have dinner? I always quite liked 5:30 but that's peak daughter homework/play time so I'm stuck waiting till 7:30. Currently dying.

I usually start prepping around 3:30 Usually eat around 5:30 or so. Really depends on what I am going to make. Some are quick meals. Others take a bit of planning.

I made a lasagne last night, but no photos as it was a bit of a mess; couldn't hold it's shape at all.

The sauce and the cheese were too runny.

It ended up looking like a Brit dinner.

^Have said before I'll never attempt a Lasagna at home again, too much work with too many ingredients then the kitchen looks like a fucking bomb went off in it and the results have never been anywhere near as good as what people who make them for a living churn out by the square meter daily. Leave it for the pro's

That's the thing. I can often get a pretty good approximation. But not last night.

^Some of them look ok but I'll stick with letting an Italian at one of the half-dozen Italian restos within easy walking distance make mine for about 280 to 320 Baht that's going to be perfect every time and they can deal with the messy kitchen too

I make a lasagna about once a month, the day after I make up about 8 liters of sauce. From a couple of weeks ago with my crappy camera.
