Have you ever eaten it?
It smells like something you would have with a full Monty.
Off out to get some beer in for the match tonight.
Any predictions?

Not a bit of it. It annoys me that I find this important but no-one likes to be called a glutton!
So let's put this to bed once and for all.
The steak and kidney pies came out of the freezer purely for display purposes.
You can compare this photo to last night's and it's obvious I have been using side plates for my dinner. My side plates are 22.5cm diameter and the dinner plates are 27.5cm diameter.
And this is where it gets interesting. As any mathematician will tell you, the area of the dinner plate is 1866cm2 and the area of the side plate is 1249cm2.
In one easy step I have reduced my food portion size by a third!
If you look at last night's Sheperd's Pie you can clearly see it was plated up on the small side plates with no rim.
But anyway, this really isn't that important to me.
^^ Optical illusion using angles and lighting to mask the depth of the plates.
Obviously using something like this, but an inch or 2 deeper.
^ Once a month, whether it needs it or not.
Mendy, you are now the pie king of Teakdoor. And it is so nice to see moisture on the plate instead instead of a dry boring steak.
I'm onb en epic bender, btw, so forgive the odd typo.
After a long day I Q'd up a nice ribeye, tater and shrooms. For Hal...notice that natural juice? Nothing dry about that dinner. Just gotta know how to cook it.
^ I must admit that does look very good Stumps.
On the rare occasions I've had a juicy steak like that I've really enjoyed it with just a couple of tomatoes and a couple of slices of good bread and butter.
Of course a portion of peas never hurts... and maybe a fried egg on yop.
Ya know Mendy....you were alright with the tomatoes. Nice grilled ones would be perfect. Then you went south with the peas and egg. It's not a Chitty Denny's meal for $2.99.
^ I personally would prefer the mushrooms, those look superb and not much beats a baked tater.
Hal's creamy chicken and chorizo pasta. There was a tin of tomatoes out of shot too and that chili powder we picked up in the Amazon gave it a nice little kick too.
Sauce coming up to finish after the cream had been added before mixing in the pasta.
Plated up with a sliced chili cos I need that spice in my life!

Slow cooked braised lamb shank with mash and mint peas. But the photo does not do justice.
