Have you any idea how complex that meal was? Simultaneous calamari, cod duijons AND burritos, not to mention chips and sweet corn. That's a bit more difficult than just sticking a hunk of meat on a 'Q'!

^^ every Q comes with a selection of salads and veggies… but if it was so easy, why ain’t you doing it?
Yeah but.....My steaks, Lobsters, pork chops, chicken wings or fish never look like "drunk' food..... and its not as simple as it looks, because I BBQ, the veggies and taters and there is some timing and coordinating that so they all come off at the same time.
So I guess my question is, why complicate it. Get a Q and make life simple....Oh wait. Hard to grill 3 cans of peas or baked beans....
^ he wouldn't, he'd get the servants to cook in any case.

but hes an ocker?
well guess as a white dominion the good ones might qualify, not sure about the transported
Well, yes, that as well.
Given Chitty's and Mendip's sterling contributions to this section of the forum, I just can not fathom why there are repeated doubts about our national fare from across the pond and beyond when all they offer up in return are incinerated hunks of meat.
Well I suspect you use ovens because the weather where you are is overcast, rainy and cold virtually year round and you probably have rules that you can't. I'm a born and raised California guy and you know the saying, "It never rains in California" and the weather is always excellent so we can be outside in shorts, T shirts and Q year round.
I had to think about it while I typed this, I haven't cooked food in an oven in probably 20 years and never use a microwave or an air fryer and haven't opened a package of frozen anything or a can of anything (Except some Chili beans for Nachos.....and YES, I melt the cheese and cook them on my Q.....Outside...
Yeah I gotta say, Snubs does live in the top rated rainy location ( Sorry Snubs). I have been there many a time and every time through it was either raining, misting and bit cold. Way to dreary for my liking probably because I could be outside year round.
Us Californian folk always used to hear cracks about Seattle. They say if you want to be depressed and off yourself, move to Seattle where you never see the sun again...
Oh, it's all coming out now.
What do you call two straight days of rain in Seattle?
A weekend.
^ Why have you bought a portable oven then?
