Gotta be honest here Mendy, Seems the dinner thread, the Anna the dog thread and the Isaan pond thread have become a bit blurred. Sometimes I have to look after people post to see what thread it actually Is. Your feet and ass have been in all 3. Along with food, Dogs etc.....Just sayin. I will say, I am very careful before I open any of them. I make sure that my meal is well digested and I am never snacking when I open them...
^^ That's all very well, but what about my banana custard?
Nice, and yellow
^ Finally, a compliment.
Thanks Wonton!
^ Oh, sorry to break the rules.
But what if your banana custard is part of your Dinner?
Crab curry - Poo Patpong Garee. Scoffed the lot.
Pork chops last night.
I've started diluting my peas with these little sprouts they sell frozen at Makro.
And dollop of mango chutney to give that Thai slant.
Love pork chops, i see you are easing back on the tatties
edit
mango chutney has no place in any meal especially with chops
I disagree. Pork pairs nicely with fruit like apples, peaches, and so on. That's my opinion anyway.
I thought it was reserved for popadoms along side red onion chutney and mint sauce.
My grand niece is still doing well despite losing her hair again due to the chemo treatment. Anyway, she loves pasta and I spent a few days in the kitchen preparing sauces for the freezer so she can enjoy it when I'm gone. I made a large batch of ratatouille and french tomato sauce using ingredients I brought over from Germany.
I then made a couple of dishes using ingredients I found in the local Big C. Well, all except the tomato sauce and puree, which I had left over...
The tinned tomatoes are the same price as fresh/kg so fresh tomatoes it was and surprised to find good celery as well at this time of year. No chance of of finding pancetta locally so had to do with bacon to make a bolognese sauce....
served up with farfalle pasta...
She also likes spaghetti carbonara so I turned this...
*except the red wine, which was for the cook...
into this...
Went down a treat...
