Until the 3rd spoonful and fourth swig of beer. Then it really started to grow on me.
My kid has developed a taste for 7/11 sushi, and while shopping for this child-silencing affair I happened acrose the afore mentioned Chicken Tikka Masala. 69 baht and as scottish as it gets, I'm all in. Wasn't bad at all. I also noticed, same brand, drunken chicken fusilli. I'm thinking, beer can up the arse BBQ. I'm up for this. Turns out the 'drunken chicken' is a translation of 'kee mao' and that shit left me with an arse like the Japanese flag.

I think what makes the dish is the definitely phallic looking King Trumpet mushroom appearing as though it has splooged over the salad:

Frying up a steak is technically cooking, I guess.

    Looks good though.

I did a three cheese tortellini in marinara...

Wife and kids have gone ahead of me and moved to NZ. Long story and bastard Covid related mostly, but yes porridge can’t be completely ruled out…

Have you sorted out MIQ yet?

When I did MIQ last July in Auckland I have to say the food was mostly hit with only a few misses. If you do do MIQ there's a Friday shout, so there's that.

    (Keeping it vaguely food related)

Now I understand why you do not enlarge you photos on TD. But considering the hell you gave Snuby over his plate of catsick ‘lobster bisque’ you have some cohones presenting that plate of dog vomit.

Lobster bisque is supposed to look pinkish/orange, and anyone who disagrees can feel free to try and google to prove me otherwise. But to comment on his posting...

... It is the typical Chitty puke on a plate, and that steak was probably past due from the discount bin.

Shhhh. Don't motivate him to post full size, we want them to stay as a thumbnail. Less chance of verping...

For me no I'll need to go back into the lottery. I believe there's one in the next day or two actually.

Wife and kids did theirs at the Auckland Crowne Plaza. Pretty pokey little room but other than that they had no complaints and said the food was mostly good too.

Today's effort was mostly a Chili con carne with my rapidly becoming traditional splooge 'salad':

Joe it did not look anemic. It looked like a real nice bisque. Most concurred with it looking delicious. Some did not and went on the warpath. Is it worth dredging up again?

Not really just replying to Snubby and making an observation.

Maybe it's his camera, I have the same technical issues.

A local grocery makes the bisque and the raviolis fresh every day. All I had to do was boil some water and heat up the bisque.
I must be colour blind because I can't see any pink or orange in the bisque.
