I was thinking the same. Less than a naughty Nana night, fo shu.

They obviously don't sell alcohol, so that's another way of keeping it reasonable.

Those dickheads who eat tomahawk steaks are just paying for the photo opportunity and likes on Facebook or greens from other dickheads like Willy on here.

Half of it is fukking bone. You'd save half the price by buying a fucking rib eye, which is what it is you fucking retards.

In fact you could get a Kobe steak thats been massaged and had Mozart played to it all of its life for that price..and which hasn't been injected full of steroids and hormones and lived on grain in shit burned down pastures like that that awful Australian fucking dogs bone

I assumed 1 tomahawk each, 7k for two so about 3.5k for one. If shared it's probably alright but no way would I pay 3k for 1 meal, and a water!

That's true — and likely will taste better.

Though, in Thailand you never know.

Those Tomahawks look like the real deal.

Good idea, so you don't spill baked beans all over this thread like you did the breakfast thread.

They do, but i agree with Dill, all form over substance - load of bone and fat. If you you are going to have it, i'd prefer a rib of beef joint.

I bet you break the stalks of the broccoli in the supermarkets so you’re not paying extra as well.

if you think a Tomahawk tastes exactly like a rib eye then you’ve clearly never eaten one. Yea, it’s the same piece of cow, but bone in gives more flavour to the meat. Any butcher worth his salt will tell you that. And if you buy a 2 inch thick bone in rib eye, then it is the same cut & flavour and you’ll be paying about the same price anyway.

Bone in steaks do offer a better flavor. Yea you are paying for that extra that you don't eat. I would probably never buy a Tomahawk steak as I prefer a nice ribeye and do not need the "handle". However I absolutely enjoy a 2" thick porterhouse ( T- Bone) steak.

After the amount of ladybloke cock you've deep throated in SE Asia, I find it very hard to see you telling the difference between a ribeye and a fucking onion, let alone a ribeye and a ribeye with a longer bone in it.

Bones are impenetrable you daft fukker. How can a fukkin bone give it more flavour?
That's an old wives tale about meat tasting any better with the bone in...And heralds back to the 70s when every fucker ate their meat well done or cremated.

Can taste the difference between 2 ribeyes.

Get back to your Halal beef bacon and chicken fucking sausage you fukkin numpty.

So, does the bone make a difference in flavor?

Due to recent studies, chefs seem to have reached a general consensus on this age-old debate. The conclusion is that cooking the steak with the bone in does not make a difference in the flavor. The impenetrable bone simply cannot impart its flavor to the meat. What the bone does do, though, is provide the meat with more surface area while cooking. Since the bone heats up and cools down more quickly than the meat, the meat that sits right next to the bone tends to be juicier and tenderer. This is especially great for patrons who enjoy their steaks on the well-done side, since the meat right next to the bone may taste quite a bit different than the rest of the steak.
