Looking for a few ideas. This weekend I will be roasting a turkey for dinner. It will be with the typical roasted vegetables, cream spinach, gravy and mashed potatoes. There will be a handful of guests, of which there will be at least 4 will be Thai. Any good suggestions for Thai style side dishes that will go with turkey? Looking for something a bit more than sticky rice and nam jim jaew.

^ well you can't go wrong with morning glory in oyster sauce with garlic & chili although that's chinese If they aren't into all the western veg dishes and for them the Turkey is the main event, its a cliche but why not do a yam or two inc Som Tam - no reason to stick to western etiquette. You could do stuffed bell peppers and spice them up a bit.

    That's a difficult proposition,
You already have mashed potatoes, so that's your starch , so as you said rice is out.
How about a vegetable Rad Na, and instead of pork you use some of the turkey breast. I have made it with chicken breast and it was very good, It is easy and fast to prepare.
The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.

Pan-seeeeared salmon with a cheeky little bowl of Indo noodles with super hot chilli sauce washed down with lemon grass tea from a teapot courtesy of the always lovely Senorita Surabaya

We retired to SS's compact and bijou single garage boudoir for dessert of luxury Lindt chocolate

You have to be careful where the garage remote is in the throes of throbbery. If you roll onto it in the heat of lustiness you could end up presented to the gated community in flagrante delicto

^ In the afterglow Loops, you need to hit with her the idea of decluttering and perhaps suggest giving the inside of the garage door a lick of cream

    New 17kg Diet.

You eat 17kg of healthy vegetables and organic meat per meal while cutting out orange juice.

yeah - gotta say, even put the right way round that does not look so pleasant.

The meat looks like mostly gristle, and well, what is on it is a mystery. Onion jam maybe?

Sure hope it tasted better than it looks.
