If you like chips, or fries as we call them in the civilized world, get yourself a fry cutter

I got one, and it works brilliantly. Wash a potato well, no need to peal the skin if you like. put it in the press and in a couple of seconds you have fresh fries .
IMO, the frozen fries we buy at the store do not compare.
The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.

    I concur, an excellent burger.
Bet that sorted the hangover out?

Upped my game tonight in Hells kitchen with an organic fried egg, homemade chips from Jersey Royal potatoes, well done peppered Sirloin and a river of Branston baked beans...

    Dinner-20211011_172117-jpg

    Very, very nice

I went to Vila Market in Udon Thani last week to check it out. I was not impressed.
But I did find some real american hot dogs, (Oscar Mayer) , and some smoked ham and turkey, , Funny think is that back in the US I would not even look at Oscar Mayer hot dogs or cold cuts, but hot dogs here in Thailand are so bad, Oscar Mayer was a treat.
Anyway, I made some Pita bread, That I was going to use later to make Gyros but with italian sausages that I had made a couple of weeks ago and froze.
    Dinner-pita12-jpg

Might not be the prettiest pita breads but they do taste good!
anyway I had a lot of dough and while I was waiting for it to rise, I stole some , wrap a couple of them Oscar Mayer hot dogs and fried them
    Dinner-hot-dog-jpg

they were pretty good with mustard ,
Then wife brought some street food she bought and by that time I was too full for Sausage gyros, so maybe tomorrow,

Now I feel sick about my hot dogs.

I went through the same thing. I saw the bacon, hotdogs and smoked turkey and loaded up. After a sandwich with the hotdogs, I remembered why I didn't really care for them. The bacon and smoked turkey rock though, I wish it was something I could get here.

Yea , the hot dogs were a bit on the salty side, but still infinitely better than the Thai versions. I wish I could get my hands at some Sabretts.
Made a nice turkey sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes and it was very good. One of this days I will make a couple of baguettes and then I will really be in business
It's been six months here and we are already itching to go back to the states. The announcement that there might be no quarantine to the US after next month, is certainly good news. If we go there, on my return trip, my sitcase would be full of food.

Ahh, but then you're on the way towards a sausage butty and it's crying out for HP! You've changed the game almost entirely there by using proper sausages.
