It was actually medium rare but covered in pepper and gravy, very succulent and tasty.

The frozen crinkle cup chips fried to crispy perfection and smothered in salt and vinegar.

The Branston baked beans nuked for 60 seconds to perfection.

Sure has hell beats eating raw meat and dish water carrot soup

Damn Joe, I have seen many an insult here, but that one may take the cake.

You have every right to lay into anyone who would do such an unspeakable act.

Whoa, there Island-boy! Garlic is God's gift to the culinary arts . . . and I remember my father sulking if garlic was used in the kitchen. Typical German: pepper is the only spice allowed. Bad luck he married a French woman.

Garlic has its place in a meal like Speg boll or curry.
    Roast dinner, no.

Speaking of roast dinners, does this beef look overdone?

    ^^^

Looks OK, though maybe more veg than just green beans, and less mash.

Decided on pizza tonight, one vegan and the other not . . . with two types of cheese and lots of roasted garlic, among other things.

    Needless to say thin-crust only.

Unless it's like one of those McDonald's burgers that don't decompose after a decade, you probably won't have to.

    LOL
I had the same problem with the Thai baht thread.. I clicked on it and I guess I clicked the option that sends you to the first page. So I saw USD 42 baht and got all excited. I started telling the wife, and then I realised what I had done
    and said " never mind"
    Ain't senility great?

They look the business. They remind me of the $1 a slice pizzas in New York, which are a great way of saving money even if you never ever spend just a dollar!

^ NZD$25 each . . . But - the best pizza in NZ as far as I'm concerned. Good quality ingredients, good size, excellent dough - chili/spicy grading offered etc etc . . .

The days of $1 pizza are like an alcoholic chav's braincells . . . long gone
