I have to say Armstrong, you have introduced me to a wider range of processed foods than I had ever imagined existed.

Of all the fast food joints, KFC is very much at the bottom of the pile. I've never understood the attraction and that looks dreadful.

The fried chicken you can buy at roadside stalls in Thailand is 10 times better than that.

Thais love it though, don't they?

I guess it's because it's cheap and Thais don't often go for beef.

Re, to this day, the best fried chicken I've ever had was done up by a Muslim guy in front of Fashion Island. Simply superb.

Saturday night was the grilled chicken off the stands there, Sunday was Muslim fried chicken most weekends. I think he grated lime zest into the batter which gave it a bit of wow factor.

Charoen Krung has some great little stands if you're ever up near the river. I actually quite like the chicken from the chain too, I think it's called Five Star.

    Yeah, these places:

The best stay true to the original formula chicken business in Thailand. 30 years plus. Started out with just grilled chicken marinated in their spices. Has gone onto a much bigger menu of tasty treats. 5 Star Chicken was a real find for me.

KFC has been reinvented in the last year. The fries (previously not even available via delivery) are now delivered in great condition.

    The plastic box was coleslaw.

And if you're claiming 5 star is better than KFC then you're a schmuck who falls for the lie on how great street food is in Thailand.
I'd like to see what morning looks like
Don't wanna drink pint after pint
I wanna wake up without feeling sick
    But I can't cuz I'm a drug-abusing alcoholic

You are to food what Osama Bin Laden was to US tourism. Have you not got scurvy yet?

An analogy for purpose and humorous effect, dear nammers.

A bit like saying Arsenal's front lads offer even less in attack than the US running away from Afghanistan.

An analogy, dear nammers. For humour.

You're being even more belligerent than usual on your return.

I added mint sauce and mustard. Didn’t do gravy this time.(the missus had stolen my pan that I’d started searing the mushrooms in to cook some of her food and I was too lazy to get another)

    Well what can I say.....outstanding!

If I was on death row and granted a final meal, this is what I would choose....

Sirloin Steak with IKEA gravy, crinkle cut chips and baked beans.

Hit the spot in so many ways!
