Thought that too. I don't mind Indian food but normally go alone to eat it and Thai diners in the restaurants are rarer than rocking-horse shit.

I'm in deepest, darkest Bang Na. If we've got it, you've probably got it.

I seem to remember someone asking if I eat all that rich food all the time. No, I don't- I'd be fat as butter. So here is a typical dinner of baked chicken, baked sweet potato wedges and some veggies. A pretensions sparking water to drink.

^ I was at Mountain Kitchen 2 weeks back to pick up my monthly takeaway of 6 curries, 2 lots of onion bhaji and a few breads, which cost less than 1000 baht.

Have you tried Hungry Eyes around the corner yet? Bit more expensive (you can't get cheaper than Mountain kitchen), but the lady does a decent Madras, which isn't on the Mountain menu.
    Black diamonds? I shit 'em.

I always have my order wrote down before I arrive and hand it to the lady. When I hand over the order, I request a large Leo, knowing that I will be lucky if the food arrives before finishing the beer.

Hungry Eye is the other side of ABAC (Soi 24 yak 32?)

It's run by the dude that used to work in Mountain Kitchen about 4 years back.

Been a quite a few times, but not made it down there for a little while.

Last time we went was on a Sunday, where they do a buffet for a friend's birthday. The food was top notch as usual and the brothers that run the front of house were as engaging as can be.

Always been a 10/10 from me.

I fooking miss it, that's for sure. Where are the Indian places near ABAC, when I left, they'd pretty much closed.
