^^ happy belated birthday Mendip. Did you get pudding.
Happy belated birthday Mendip.
You should have a trip to Wigan next time you're in the UK.
Its pie heaven.
All the women in the pubs want to discuss is pies!
^ I had to look that up.
FFS man, this is a food thread. I've got big fingers as well.
Pies and special handshakes... does Wigan have any bad points?
I blame a mispent youth reading Viz.
Fuck sake, you'll be the same star sign as that nob end PH.
Someone shoulda put your name and age in peas on the top of the pie
Oh well, Happy Belated Birthday, fella.
^ That looks great, but I'd need a sauce of some kind... cheese maybe?
^^ Maya will soon be out at night with the others. I think whether to have a dog in the house is a personal choice but it doesn't work to have 5 'outside' dogs and 1 'house' dog. Maya comes in and the rest follow... I do like it but it ha to stop. Once I'm sure Maya is safe with the others she will sleep with them in the workshop.
I gave her a good wash today and picked off dozens of ticks... they are pretty much impossible to control when the dogs mooch about all day outside. As much as I enjoy her company in the evenings she'll have to stay outside within the week.
^^^ Aries, The Ram
March 21st is the 1st day of Aries and the 1st day of Spring, as well as being the Spring Equinox. Quite an auspicious day really, but the wife still forgot.
The gardener remembered and got me a box of Leo... but will doubtless put it on expenses.
There's not a pod big enough to hold enough peas for my name and age... I have a long name.
Looks a bit dry Snubbles, I would have drowned it in gravy.
^White sauce goes with corned beef, not gravy you fucken heathen
Aah, needs white sauce and it looks good otherwise, been a long while since I had corned beef. Did you make that subs?
Half a sea bass and gambas al ajillo
Stuffed, bring on half term.
This COVID situation is a disaster Loopy, feel for you, i really do.
^^^ Thought you were on a hard lockdown Mandaloopy?
You do post some great meals, I assume from restaurants.
What do you eat the rest of the time?
You better believe it! Sensational. I splurged a bit for the missus' birthday.
15 people, private room. Pay a restaurant a heap of money & receive excellent service and loads of food like that on platters (Sirloin, giant prawns and spicy lamb sausages). We also had racks of lamb, slow cooked prime rib, French onion soup, cold cuts & pickles & escargot. But I forgot to get pictures of it all.
Warning: Be cautious if you are a fragile pink
