Yeah saw that and after looking at their Facebook page not sure there's much there that I can't get in BKK so not worth the trip.

Jeyuk bokkeum. Korean stir fried pork.

Pork belly is the best for this and gochujang and sesame oil are obligatory.

You shouldn't crowd the pan with a stir fry, but I had so much it was still a bit crowded with two pans...

... it was still the dog's gonads though.

Kim Jong Hal's the name, spicy pork's the game.

    Mashisseoyo!

Btw, the plate on the left was for Dil, but he fucked me off.

Damn that looks good. I think a trip to the local Korean market is in order.

14 years overseas and I can say I haven't really missed English food enough to make an effort to seek it out. The whole cuisine could be summed up as something warm and brown.

I used to think the same but, having been home recently for the first time in 15 years, you appreciate the quality of the produce and the meats, cheeses and pickles are second to none.

In fact, whisper it quietly, but modern English cooking as a whole is actually quite good these days.

You'd like to think there has been an improvement too, given all the bloody cooking programmes on the telly.

Personally, in all the years I've been abroad, no breakfast has come close to a full English breakfast and no dinner has ever matched a Sunday roast....

You don't like sausage, bacon and eggs?

    How is this possible?

It's clearly the best breakfast in the world.

Well yes getting the slop off the plate is key but I personally hate pancakes.

The sausage, bacon and eggs are the breakfast! Any other stuff is just personal preference.

You ever had fried bread and black pudding Snubs?

    What's a traditional American breakfast?

Let's get off this brekkie shit in the dinner thread and you are wrong. In the south it would be grits and eggs.
