Troy, considering how pasta is usually eaten, what's the logic in retaining the tails,
    unless you eat them?

    Looks great BTW

KW ... do you eat them?

Maybe I'm just used to a traditional sauce which clings to the pasta.

Twirl the pasta around my fork, transfer to the spoon and consume.

It's a real pet hate, personally. Just never saw the sense in leaving tails on that aren't going to be eaten, unless fucking around with a fork and spoon removing them or pulling them from your mouth with fingers is what some people enjoy doing?

Went back to an old favourite. A marinaded pork fillet. Roasted vegetables, with a rice pilaf.

Did you make that? Im skeptical due to the black background (and my grandfather told me: never trust a Yiponese or a Yermin...).

    It looks nice though.

    Sausages last night!

I've stopped posting food pics while waiting for my S10+ to get fixed... but that seems to be taking ages.

I took this with my old phone... imagine how good it could have looked with my fancy new one!

An 'old phone' steak and kidney pie from Monday night.

I covered the meal in lashings of gravy in true Hal style, only to find that the Bisto granules have gone bad and it tasted awful. I should have learnt by now to keep everything in the fridge or freezer and out of the God-awful continuous heat of this part of the world.

My daughter (the bugger) had declined gravy in preference of tomato sauce. She couldn't keep the smirk off her face.

Less gravy, no peas and actually cooking the chips would have been a spectacular. The pies, sausages and jacket potato look fantastic maximo, scorchio...

    ^ Thanks for the compliment!

Those chips would have been golden brown with my S10+...

And no peas??? I've heard some strange ideas in my time, but...

Yes but a good rule is to taste the sauce before pouring it over the more expensive meat and destroying the dish.
    Hindsight is always easy innit?
