That looks great... a proper sea fish I bet!

As for crumble, it's easy. Just mix the fat and flour together with yer fingertips and add a bit of sugar. No need to bind with water as for a pie, and no rolling out.

    Give it a go!

^ Why'dya cover her face up?

I picked up some sausages in town today, so of course the littlun wanted her favourite meal... and I can't say how proud that makes me. None of this chicken and rice nonsense!

I've posted this meal before, but not with me new phone I think...

Can have it with or without condiments...

    Without for the daughter...

    With for me...

That mash looks good. I've got some fake smash stuff that doesn't really do it justice.

It was a toss up between Roasties, Baked or what i did was boring Cheese, onion and tatties....again. Trouble with roasties is they don't really have a 3 day shelf life - mind you i am hungry and that chook may be history today.

It was great! So once a year a local bistro, La Rosa does a Mexican day. Luckily for us in UB they will be opening a permanent Mexican restaurant in June and it is in my neighborhood.

^ From the menu observations, looks to be quite a decent and veritable feast, Hats...
One might be surprised as to underlying numbers of Pescatarian types that bind our global community.

Fresh water as well as ocean going.

    Cheers!!

After so many years you get creative . . . just the price of seafood here in NZ is ridiculous

My wife does a really good mee goreng - and you can get fresh hokkien mee here in NZ at an Asian shop about ten minutes away . . . and the garlic butter prawns . . . simply dripping in butter . . . not particularly healthy, but every now and then.

Is your wife hokkien as well?

    No, Hakka.

Those butter prawns are phenomenal. I remember a restaurant just outside Kuching where we'd often stop and order about 6 plates!

Ah, Kuching is a special place. Like KK. Brilliant - Topspot Seafood Court. I was there for a few days in November for work. If only it had nicer beaches, where KK beats it easily . . . but Borneo still beats semananju hands down

No. She can't speak a word.

Topspot on top of the car park! The memories come flooding back.

The beaches aren't the main problem in Sarawak. It's the crocodiles!
