Lamb looks good. Pizza looks shit.
If Shangri-La delivered to me I would be delighted, but not right in the head to leave the living room today haha.
^
^^
Where is the lamb? I have looked twice.
Sheltering in place bennies - more home cooking. Wife has "top rung" cooking skills, but... food in Thailand is so damned cheap, why bother with the cooking and cleaning? Usually return with cooked dinners from wherever we happened to be. So, these days we happened to be at home.
Tonight’s dinner includes an entree of spicy ground pork & Thai eggplant along with a side of fried vegetables. Dessert will be apples.
Managed to get a couple of shots of the veggies being prepped before the head chef banned me from her kitchen. The spicy pork was done while I did my treadmill routine. Works for me – allows me to bypass that most pungent permeation of the fried Thai spicy aromatics we are so used to.

^ you're doing alright for being locked in at UB with everyone wanting to beat you up...
PAG would make a great wife; another lovely looking meal.
Smoked mackerel fillets with a soy, lime, garlic and chili glaze, on a bed of rice.
^ Princess?
You make that yourself?
Why I ask, I have these buggers to eat up and could do with some advice... fork and spoon for mackerel?
Mash & Peas.
I quite like mixing the meat with Mayo and some chili sauce and having that on Baked Spuds, with peas and other less important veg.
Bacon, baked potato, cheese and (left over) beans.
^^ What a Smorgasbord you have!
^ Looks very tasty!
Lockdown must be great with all that to get through!
Tonight I asked me daughter what she wanted for tea... and she said, 'steak and kidney pie with peas'.
My pride continues! Luckily whenever I make a pie I also make a few small ones for the freezer.
Easily sorted and one happy daughter and dad!
I've been told that peas have more Vitamin C than oranges weight for weight. No corona virus in this house!
^What's going on with the black pepper grinder, noticed it a few times now and the contents look more pink than black!
Love the peas though, and the rest of the plate too
^Ah ok, don't let anyone tell you that your eyes need surgery
Thanks guys... this has now gone on the shopping list!
Mr Dill... that eye surgery must be the bollox.
We've gone through a few really nice salt and pepper grinders but always found the the humidity made the workings corrode and bind up. I just get these disposable grinders now.
Get a leccy spice grinder, if its only a few corns hardly needs cleaning and its always fresh.
Slow down take your time. You dont have to respond to every post that is posted. Pepper, black pepper is the topic. The posters and I agree that pepper pre packaged in a grinder as shown is better. I have used Kirkland from Cosco for years, but just ran out. I have the same McCormick now that Mendip has.
I agree with Skkin that humidity is the culprit. Here in the LOS we have ya beat hands down. Keeping the pepper in the fridge really helps as well.
Yeah I've still got a few pepper grinders somewhere in the back of a cupboard but long ago joined the disposable club as well, they work 100% of the time and are easy to adjust the size of grindings. Not much gives me the shits more than eating out and finding that they're using pepper grinders, might just be had luck on my part but it's 50/50 if the fucking things will work at all.
Edit to add: Just had to go on the hunt to find the shit pepper grinders, now what will I do for amusement tomorrow. Anyways, te 3 on the left are now in the bin and the disposable is doing a great job.

^ Reminds me of the old adage: the bigger the pepper grinder, the worse the restaurant.
Chitty's must be almost as big as the Eiffel Tower.
