The last of my steak and kidney pies tonight.

I know I've posted the same meal before... but I want to get something off my chest. I'm not unaware of some unfair 'pea' related comments, and I don't know why.

It's like McTavish the Scottish hill farmer who spent his entire life building mile upon mile of dry stone wall. Then he made one transgression and shagged one sheep. After that he wasn't called 'McTavish the wall builder'. I make many meals, a few with peas, and then I am labelled.

Tonight I said to my daughter, 'what veg do you want?'. She said, 'peas of course!'.

So what's a man to do?

I supplemented the peas with sprouts and ka na from the garden. And lashings of gravy!

Dinner this evening – Sheltering in Place curtails, or virtually eliminates any travels. So, early this AM we visited the Moo Baan’s fruit and veggie vendor to load up on fresh produce. Guys got quite a racquet going. No lack of customers. He carries a pickup truck load of fruits and veggies from Suphan Buri to Nonthaburi and sells until it’s all gone. He’s usually sold out by 10AM. Rinse and repeat on a daily basis.

Dinner tonight was Tod Mun Pla, Moo Palo, and a soup of chicken, radish and mushrooms. Quite enjoyable.

Desserts will be Chompoo, Papaya, and Mangos along with a bit of cake. Fruits not cut up yet so not pictured (well, in the larder).

I had the left overs from my curry a couple of days ago and it was delicious. The leftover naan looked dodgy so had bread instead.

    2 day old naan?

    Yeah, I'd pass on that.

Lovely. And not a tin of Campbells to be seen anywhere, Chitty.

Garlic and onions are on the right of the top picture. They went in first.

Unfortunately, I've got an iffy stomach at the moment so am having to refrain from anything spicy. And beer.

    ^ that's a bugger.

I really like spiced pumpkin soup and love it winter time, i may have to add soup makings to my Cider hunt tomorrow - bugger this is all throwing my careful crafted Corona weekly ration/recipe menu to shite.

If this Corona mess keeps going i am going to have to get You, Mendip, KlongT, Snakey and that Flocker Dill on ignore, just till the belt tightening stops you understand.

Nowt bland on my plate, mate.

Did you use a blowtorch to nuke that chicken, and were those potatoes picked in the middle of the Sahara?
