This is like United getting Farnborough Town in the FA Cup.

The Arab millions and cheating won't help you here though.

No mash? No cauliflower cheese? No mint sauce or mustard? One sad looking Aunt Bessy per person?

35 or 36 degrees at 5pm here, not the best season to be cooking long meals. So well done to you all kidding aside. Gonna try and find the time to make a big batch of salsa up. Online for 6 hours today though...

Dill, can you dip your reading toe into Squirrels and what are their best accompaniments, we are short on Guinea Pigs in the village. The nearest i can get to South America foodwise is some Alpacas a few fields away but they look a bit mean.

I saw loads of squirrels in supermarkets in Spain. Never appealed to me, there's not a lot of meat on them is there.
Its a shame all the coypu died off in the UK, that would have been a nice lunch for you Sid.

Probably not a good time to talk about exotic meat but I've always fancied a Donkey Burger. Horse meat is meant to be nice too.

I used to see ostrich burgers in the UK at Christmas times and drove to work one day and saw one put into a bodybag on the m42 or m40, there's a farm near there somewhere where it escaped from.

Just looked if I could find it on tinternet.

Here's one who got onto the m56

Dill, we don't all have a chicken farm next to us like you to create endless varietals like Chicken Baltigarno or Schnitzel. My old Jack Russel never complained on squirrels, use to catch them and bolt them down for fun. I fear they are be too quick to become a ration staple. I am googling Alpaca hunting and recipes.
