They're not my plates of meat. You think I'd wear pink trainers?

Out of all those dishes on that menu, the only one I'd go for would be the Milaneso de Pollo

Did the Guinea Pig taste just like chicken?

Btw how much is 25soles in proper money?

Back on track.. Did my big shop before they announced the closing of department stores so avoided the rush. But had a few things to use up to fit everything in the fridge. So leftover fajita meat, some old tortillas, last of the old cheese, some ranch dressing and store bought salsa went into this chimichanga.

Two flour tortillas filled with the chicken fajita mixture.

    Dinner-img_20200321_194036-jpg

Add some chopped red onion, cilantro and hot sauce.

    Dinner-img_20200321_194210-jpg

add some cheese roll it up and lightly fry until golden brown. Serve on salad with ranch dressing. Top it with salsa.

    Dinner-img_20200321_200747-jpg

Hot!!! cut it in half to cool and enjoy, came out nice for an experiment..

^ So, basically, Old El Paso in a tortilla?

Chitty gets murdered for less and he at least uses a vegetable every now and then!

Definitely looks alright though, I'll give you that.

Not at all. Shredded chicken breast, onions, peppers, cumin, chilli powder, paprika and a little lime..

Either way, cracking end of the night beer food that is.

Something you'd never say about Chitty's work.

    ^ Careful.

He will throw down another one of his cook off challenges... and lose again.
Although he did beat the non starter Luigi in an oven-off once.

To be fair to Chitty, he does burn a lot of calories.

    The simpler things...

Dinner this evening - simple tofu and sprouts, spicy chicken - quite tasty and enjoyable - followed by a dessert of mixed fresh fruits

    Yeah... and in Thailand.

They do their own crumpets, muffins and hot cross buns and breads in their own bakery here too

Did a lasagne yesterday. Another 6 hour job from start to finish, but a nice way to spend an afternoon with a few bevvies.

    Dinner-20200321-153926-jpg

Had to make do without tomato paste because there's nothing available in any of the supermarkets at the moment. Whoda thunk people would be hoarding tomato paste?

The bechamel wasn't great actually 'cos I didn't have any decent cheese in the fridge and my wife is in quarantine so wouldn't go to the shop for me (I was too pissed to do it myself when I realised)! The steak was for later.

Not the best I've made, but it was decent enough in these apocalyptic times.

Yep, these were fresh. I normally use tinned tomatoes (I find the taste to be stronger), but there's nothing on the shelves...
