Some great looking dishes these last few pages so I'll add to the mix. The gf put together a New Zealand green lip mussel and miscellaneous other seafood stir fry over rice with some spicy dipping sauce on the side.
P.S. Nothing wrong with a crispy hard shell taco. We usually put ours in the pizza oven for a few minutes to get them warm and crunchy.

Dilly while I appreciate a few greens now and then no need to infer to the fish or clam for that matter as lush. Ok, prostitute maybe as I do work for this living but I'd swear I'm not a lush. A drunkard in my "free" time but certainly no lush.

P.S. I'd love to green Snubs despite his latest comments regarding the fish and or his tacos but then I'm afraid he'd soon want to move into the bunker.

Was out doing some shopping today. Had to go to three different stores to find Toilet paper. Got my appetite worked up. So did a roast chicken dinner. Almost did peas but fresh steamed green beans and broccoli sounded better.

I have some frozen peas in the freeze I bought with you in mind. We shall see if they make an appearance in an upcoming meal.

In fact that dinner was so good and I still have most of the chicken left I may just do it all over again with peas. We could call it he Mendip mashup.

How much butter is on that?

Sheltering in place - groceries stocked, hypochondriac wife wants to stay in, "I don't want to get sick", well, nor do I. Don't normally bother photoing food, rather just eat it, but...


Tonight din din, spicy shrimp, seaweed, tofu & rib soup - sweet potatoes for dessert. Wife is a fantastic cook.

Just had a very rare solo supper out this evening. M'Sahib off doing yoga, and I couldn't be ass'd cooking so hit my local Korean. Always amazed at the various dishes that appear before you get what you've actually ordered (in my case, some marinated grilled pork chopped up, along with a kimchi stew/soup). This lot, including a litre jug of draught Leo, 450 baht. Photos really intended for M'Sahib to assure her I'd actually eaten.

Sat a good distance from anyone else, and used sign language to order. I did apologise for any offense caused by my chopped pork sign.....I blame it on my arthritis in my right hand fingers.

The Korean banchan (side dishes) are indeed another great thing about food in Korea. The photo below is from a couple of years ago out in the sticks in the south of the country. They got a bit excited at having a couple of long noses in the house and by the time they'd stopped bringing out the sides ("You try! You try! Delicious!"), we had to stack them up on top of each other. We barely made a dent in the fish stew we'd ordered!

I almost miss that Bunsen burner stuff just off the rive. You know the lights glimmering on the other side.
