Thanks Dr. Google but I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing.
So you are saying that because the animal you are eating is fed largely on grass, that your diet therefore is largely grass. I am sure you know what you are doing unless some one is force feeding you, just not what its doing to your body.

Nope I'm saying that what you've posted is that meat is inherently in and of itself toxic.

Which is obviously, you know, complete nonsense.

The lunch thread seems to have vanished.

Just got back home after a nice 200km ride through the mountains and MM is at work. Was gonna post up this blob of magnificence.

Ain't that the truth?. Never met anyone that didn't like a decent burger, from kids to grandparents everyone enjoys them. Except some vegans maybe, but even those whack-jobs are catered too these days with patties made from fuck-knows-what...

There's an Australian saying "She/He has a face like a dropped pie" and this is where it came from.

Had an ol' celly that would replace 'a dropped pie' with 'a smashed crab'.

^ Nothing wrong with that ... looks great.

    Noodle with Shrimp?
    Sweet n Sour Chicken?
Red pork on the plate edge?

    Taste good? Cost?

^I'm assuming it was a buffet to have all those combos on one plate. Looks good though!

It was combo but it was an entree at the local American style Chinese restaurant and also came with Sweet and Sour soup. An experience that is uniquely American. This is a good video explaining...

So, it's a vegan restaurant in Brickfields - but not vegan as we know it, this was south Indian vegan - very tasty. Now, before you point me out as a fat prat (at 6'2 and 86 kg), I had just a few spoons of each!

There was a Hindu festival of sorts going on - lots of loud music and two of my favourite libations (!) were there!

So, we started off with a very tasty mild curry soup in bread, baked in the kitchen

There were many more but I just gave up taking photos . . . five hours we sat and ate . . . then it was time to get back to my place, shower and get off to my Syrian dinner.

I'm glad this is not a common occurrence. . . far too much food

    Looks delish.

Cendol with avocado and durian is the best.
