Four glorious days without a homestay guest till Thursday. Time to cook some more comfort food. A pork mince based shepards pie with garlic butter mash and a Parmesan crust. Went down a treat, even the wife finished hers.

Talk and pics of steak here lately made the decision easy today, just a couple of eggs on the side and that'll do.

No hyperbole at all, I just ate the nicest piece of salmon I've had in my life. The difference between that and the stuff I have been eating is unreal!

No condiments either... Just a smidgeon of butter, salt 'n pepper.

Also the cat can get fucked that was too nice to share.

I would not eat farm raised shit salmon unless you paid me. Was it Alaskan? I eat mostly local caught or Alaskan salmon.

    Yep wild Alaskan.

Unreal. My only complaint is the fillet was slightly on the small size (can order larger but)

I figured. Nothing compares really. I came from a family of fishermen. My grandfather ran boats to Alaska and so we had basically an endless supply growing up.

I hear you Snubbs, we had lots of boats too. I still have a few and a couple of canoes and a kayak.

Dilly keeps saying that my new diet is making me grumpy...

...not really seeing anything to be upset about at my end though.

I will add though that steak alone wasn't quite enough.

Was still hungry so had to throw a couple of eggs down me gob.

Actually I think I’m prepared to report a noticeable spike in energy today.

So you are Joe Rogan then?

What Joe Rogan learned from eating a carnivore diet for 30 days

Wild only from this point over me hopes since you unlike most on this forum have finally had the real thing and not that farm raised trash.

Oh hells yes. I couldn't eat that other crap now.

Most the stuff I was eating was smoked Norwegian stuff which was pretty good but even that doesn't compare.

    Lasagne and chips tonight...

I lived in Singapore for a couple of years in the early 2000s and loved it, but each time I come back now I like it less and less. It seems to be full of overpriced crap.

A miniature lasagne with what appeared to be Heinz tomato soup poured over, $16. A plate of chips, $12, and a pint of Tiger, $13.

    All plus plus of course...
