A trip to IKEA today with the perfect opportunity to try Swedish meatballs with Swedish gravy.

I submitted to Teakdoor peer pressure and opted for peas and a glass of mixed fruit cider in honour of Mendips Xmas thread.

The peas were outstanding but unfortunately the cider really isn't my cup of tea so i went and got ...a cup of tea.

Fantastic! A pea green owed! Peas and cider... it don't get any better!

But to be honest those Ikea peas seem to be falling apart a bit and not holding together... maybe inevitable?

No peas on this monster only da meats....



My local pizza place. Northlake tavern and pizza house. A Seattle institution.

I've got a few days left in the UK and still a few more meals to cross off the list.

My last meal of the decade... and apart from the lamb chops and fried potato slices, all my own work!

Mint Jelly instead of sauce, nice.

Shall be having a similar meal on New Years day without the peas

New years day. Had to shake off the hangover at the local pub. Again...

Burger dip with Swiss cheese (An American thing) with hand battered onion rings and of course my stoli soda to shake that hangover off.

Really, my MM loves it, albeit from Sunrise Tacos.


So perhaps not.

Spicy, tangy, colorful, hands-on and messy. Surprised Thai kids don't love it.

It's hard to find good Mexican in Korean (a couple of places in Seoul, none locally that I know of) - I've had the worst burritos of my life here. Korean attempts at foreign food are for the most part terrible.

Following Batty's lead of taking the other half out for dinner, we went to our favourite Eye-Tie resto. Lasagna for me:


Kee Mao spaghettio-naka for Mrs Worx (outstanding dish that I always get to help her finish )


And while picking up laundry from the Mom-Pop convenience store on the ground floor, I spied this in the fridge and couldn't pass it up..

Delisherous after a good morning work-out.

Lobster lunch

Food was crap on the plane on the plus side arrived 1 hour early. At least the food at home is tasty.

T'was all delicious NPT... more than we could eat on the day... those massive shrimps were more like mini lobsters actually, I know what you mean about the head/body ratio though...

Who plated that up a 6 year old kid? Look at the chips FFS. Fooking huge in the middle tin and the other two they are microscopically small. Middle tin also lacking broccoli and has a different size sauce cup not to mention it looks like the kitchen staff had its way with the lobster meat in it and hollowed it out.

IF it was me I would swap the chips out of the middle tin while Dilly was having a piss and take the one on the left.
