No peas on this monster only da meats....
My local pizza place. Northlake tavern and pizza house. A Seattle institution.
I've got a few days left in the UK and still a few more meals to cross off the list.
My last meal of the decade... and apart from the lamb chops and fried potato slices, all my own work!
Mint Jelly instead of sauce, nice.
Shall be having a similar meal on New Years day without the peas
New years day. Had to shake off the hangover at the local pub. Again...
Burger dip with Swiss cheese (An American thing) with hand battered onion rings and of course my stoli soda to shake that hangover off.
Fantastic onion rings...
New Years Day Lamb...
Mmmm, you folks are eating better than me; some very tasty food on this page.
^ Prepare to be disappointed.
^^^ That looks fantastic Snubetta.
Lonesome holiday chick's last night before heading back home, said she had never tasted Mexican food.
I dare say she still hasn't.
Really, my MM loves it, albeit from Sunrise Tacos.
So perhaps not.
Spicy, tangy, colorful, hands-on and messy. Surprised Thai kids don't love it.
It's hard to find good Mexican in Korean (a couple of places in Seoul, none locally that I know of) - I've had the worst burritos of my life here. Korean attempts at foreign food are for the most part terrible.
A bit of Korean BBQ pork tonight with Mrs Bettyboo:
Following Batty's lead of taking the other half out for dinner, we went to our favourite Eye-Tie resto. Lasagna for me:
Kee Mao spaghettio-naka for Mrs Worx (outstanding dish that I always get to help her finish )
And while picking up laundry from the Mom-Pop convenience store on the ground floor, I spied this in the fridge and couldn't pass it up..
Steak night
Cooks on hot stones
Done!
Vino
^ Good stuff.
Is that Tom's shirt across the table?
Wot we 'ad - NYE 2019.
All picked up that same morning from the Fish Market in Ang Sila.
Our first New Year celebration in the new house
Nice spread TD, specially like the clams. Never been too fussed on those large prawns, all head like a good st'er.
^^ Damn, hope there's something left in the gulf of Thailand after that feast.
Wee spot o' lunch.
Tasty tenderloin stir-fried with garlic, peppers and onion, and some Teriyaki sauce.
Delisherous after a good morning work-out.
Lobster lunch
I think our paths have crossed before Thai Dhupp when you lived in Bang Phli.
Anyhoo, if you're new to the area and get a craving for Farang Food, Bang Saen Doesn't have much. I can advise 3 places you could check out if so wish.
1 - Little Chef at Scandinavian village. You do not have to be a resident to eat here. English owner - https://www.facebook.com/pg/LittleChefSV/posts/
2 - Pooky and Eric - Old European fellow and his lovely wife. Been open for yonks about 150 metres away from the beach - https://www.facebook.com/pages/Pooky...39265129607408
3 - Bambuse - Little family-run Thai and steak place - https://www.facebook.com/bambuse.bs/

Black diamonds? I shit 'em.
What is that KT?
Who plated that up a 6 year old kid? Look at the chips FFS. Fooking huge in the middle tin and the other two they are microscopically small. Middle tin also lacking broccoli and has a different size sauce cup not to mention it looks like the kitchen staff had its way with the lobster meat in it and hollowed it out.
IF it was me I would swap the chips out of the middle tin while Dilly was having a piss and take the one on the left.
