Hungry looking at that certainly, as my fried kale is being prepared without any steak at all. But it does sort of look like 2 or 3 sepatate meals that crashed into each other.
I could still wolf it down though.

^ You're not wrong, but I'm always limited to what my daughter likes.

When I get down to Bangkok on my own I can eat whatever I like!

^ Shes doing alright with the greens
My daughter wouldn't touch them, or baked beans.

She prefers her Mom's Thai food, the weirdo

Home made parboiled crinkle cut chips extra salted.
Bistro gravy and a sea of Aldis finest baked beans...

    Very nice

3 cuts of meat, and the beans are still the biggest item on your plate?

    Was cracking though...

Indeed, fish finger sandwiches are nice with some tartar sauce and ketchup.

^ Agreed the steak is done to perfection. I have been reading about how old "drive ins" are making a comeback with the Covid problems. Got me to thinking. I used to love shrimp in a basket as a treat when eating out with my folks. So whipped a copy up. Not to bad at all.

Today we’re up somewhere around three pagoda pass, stopped at a Thai-International billed restaurant. Always a hit-and-miss proposition but this one was a solid hit.

Four folk, sum tum, tom yum pla, fish, moo lard, tod man pla, espresso, drinks, and of course jasmine rice, plus desserts of assorted cakes, THB 1,200. Really an incredible price considering what was delivered.

As the Thai’s don’t serve dishes together the pix are sectioned/segmented – but, you get the overall picture…

They're some of the worst sausages in the world, you daft twat. The Isaan rubbish is one step up from the muck they sell at 7/11.

First trip to a restaurant for a while. The steak wasnt great but way better than what I can do, and a few draught Heinekens helped.
