Syria and Lebanon were the best places I've ever eaten Arabic food although there are some very good places on Sukhumvit Soi 3 too.

Readily available, cheap, effectively a whole meal in a can (beans on toast eg), can be eaten cold, or takes 5 mins to warm up. Comparatively nutritious (except for high salt and sugar), and - most important of all - kids eat them with no muss or fuss.

Wait what? Where are the prep pics? You know... like the marinara in the pot or the entire slab of lasagna...

...Well home baked is not homemade.

    So this...

Add a quantum of peas to that bean lasagna and he'd have a winner.

    Haven't tried the beans yet.

That lasagne was like your average hamburger soup but with no soup, extra burger and don't hold the cheese

The wife made a rare expedition to the kitchen last night... and lamb chops followed!

And for any doubters, lots of fresh, nutritious veg for the littlun!

Can't understand where all this talk about peas has come from.

Dinner buffet last night at the Hilton on Beach Rd (who even knew such place could even exist in Pattaya ). Really good with so many choices, a lot of which I didn't get to this time like BBQ seafood and imported steaks/chops sort of thing.

^That steamed sea bass was ridiculously good, I had to go back and get another few pieces.

Tried to stay in Keto spec and was doing fine till seeing these sort of things in the desert buffet. The pastry chefs at this hotel churn out some really nice deserts and I love these sampler sized offerings (of which there were more than a dozen to choose from, along with a variety of full-sized cakes and fruits and so on).

^Homemade ice cream?. Count me in for a few scoops, with a little mango sticky rice and coconut cream too.

Just superb and a great night dining with some friends who were celebrating a special occasion. 1400 Baht nett per head, not expensive but very good.

    35 quid?

You can get an all you can eat Sunday buffet for less than a tenner in most parts of Pattaya. If you get there at midday you can turn it into lunch, dinner and tea and bang the granny out of the cook with the other 25

Nah Its good quality, not value

Nothing wrong with being frugal or a bit of balloon chasing
You can pay i think it was 8k and get a free night at the Hilton and then 50% off all those Hilton all you can eat buffets.

That bloody, Dilly, won the lottery and still saving his pennies; you can take the Northerner out of the council estate, but...

Look like a nice spread Headworx, and seabass is such a great tasting fish; Thailand is pretty cheap for great seabass.

Mendip??? Why are you not forcing, beating, harassing, berating, bullying, psychologically intimidating and offering sexual services to your wife to get her into the kitchen more often - that's a nice meal she's pulled together for you there.
