And you say I'm on a barstool?

I reckon if Ant was on a barstool there and you were over visiting and sat in that opposing whicker chair that you would lean across and take Ants proteinous load.

There's no potatoes or chips, the lambs overdone, theres a bowl of pla raa to the left and theres two fucking salads

    Its fukking gay

It was actually a touch rare for my tastes, I love a steak dripping but not me lamb.

I had this last night, well if you can class night as 5am.

Seriously I'd rate it better than the Masala Twist the other night and is made by Loy Toy's lovely wife. I couldn't tell you the name of it
Just found a christmas pudding in the fridge too. Don't see any mince pies though

Fucking hell Dill! That must have looked like Bettys banquet at 5am .

No offence to Loytoys missus but what the fook did you do to that pie??

My guess , dropped it on the floor half a dozen times then scooped it up with a dustpan and bunged it in the microwave.

    Bet it tastes ruddy wonderul.

Bsnubs starting early today, licking Ants bum for a bowl of salad.
Yes no mint sauce with lamb that's bang out of order.

Cyrille get the gimp back in the cage.

Had quite a big drink last night, out til 3:30am, so cooked up some pasta, put some extra olives and chicken into the premade sauce - tastes good, and gets some carbohydrates into the body...

^That doesn't look too bad at all!

Left to fend for myself yet again, I cooked my darling daughter her favourite... poached fish and eggs (my own creation).

The fish from the pond (pla nin) and the eggs from the chickens!

No carrots as planned, but plenty of peas. The potatoes never seem to look good in photos.

The daughter can't resist trying to get into the 'Manwich' thread!

And hot doughnuts with coconut ice cream and chocolate sauce for pudding!

And the more astute among you will have noted Qatar and Lufthansa cutlery. All available for swaps!

Don't listen to Reachy Mendip, he was brought up on fried Mercan goodness, poaching is an alien concept.

^ Proper food often isn't aestheically pleasong, but very nuttitious!

And despite Nev's observation, a bottle of Hong Thomg seems to have the same affect as bottle of genuine whixky!

Relax, my daughter sleeps beside me while I type trying to focus with one eye closed!

Thank god I did not have to grow up eating that disgusting shit. The worst I had was liver and creamed corn. I spit that shit out behind the furnace when my mom was not in the room. Fucking terrible. So sorry for little miss mendip. I am sure she spit that into a napkin.

There are recipes from your mum, or dad in Mendips case that live on in a child's fond memories. I imagine Mini Mendip will pine for dads poached Pla when she's grown up and away from home.

Sadly, my mothers Brawn or head cheese as Mercans like to call it was not one, from the whole pigs head bubbling away in her jam pan which had my friends running screaming from the kitchen to the finished product marbled with brains - its was neither an aesthetic or culinary high point in my formative years

My mum grew up in the war when tripe and sheep's brains spread on toast were a staple for the working class. She passed on to me a fondness of tripe, although to my knowledge I've never tried sheep's brains. Impossible to get now I think since the mad cow epidemic in the UK.

And anyway, my food looks and tastes way better than my shitty photos suggest! I just need a new phone!

OK I will take your word for it. My mom thought I loved liver and creamed corn until as an adult I told her how I resented that she cooked that and had me eat it.

Mine too she was a land girl, she always used cheap cuts and made the most tasty meals, actually the Brawn was really good but i could have done without witnessing the production process
