Thread: Dinner

^ Funny you should say that...Daughter mentioned it to the wife the other day.

If you look back through the thread, you'll find that I eat, pasta , curry, pies etc.

I do have a thing about Yorkshire puddings though.

I have fresh fruit every morning, just like this.

Got it right this evening. Perfect poached haddock in parsley sauce with roasted King Edwards and broccoli, wish I had a picture. The haddock was fresh this morning from Newlyn harbour.

I bloody love Rhubarb. I used to grow it in the garden in the Uk/ I used to get manure from the local small holding, and on carrying a bucket load back one day, a neighbour asked what I was doing with it. "Putting it on my rhubarb" I told him. "Weird" he said "I prefer it with custard" Smart mouthed bastard.

Tonights spaghetti nearly ended up on the floor in my haste to get it onto the table as you can see in the pic

Looks a bit of a mess but after a beer garden skinful on a saturday afternoon, it hit the spot.

No dinner today home alone so busy anyway , quick snack will do then mabe a takeaway when I pick the wife up from work ,, BUT found time to make some nice fruit scones to eat after dinner , here they are just out the oven

I can't/ wont buy Lurpak at 210 baht a tub! Looking at those scones, would be yummy on their own!

Yes, the flour and lard variety!

Came home tonight and the dear little wife had made me this ,, ok basic food but very tasty and she made a nice drop of onion gravy to pour over it .
