Sorry mate forgot that one ,,, I do,nt know if its an Issan thing or not ( no doubt someone else will ) the wife gets 6 duck eggs a week , boils up a saline / salt water mixture lets it cool right down then puts the eggs into a large plastic jar we have fills it to the top put the lid on and leaves it for weeks for the salt to permeate ? through the shells into the eggs ,,,,,,, I,m not sure if she cooks the eggs before or after this process,,,,,,,,, I would hard boil an egg and put salt on it ( but I dont tell her that ) no seriously they are delicious ,, allthough the same cannot be said about a by product of this eating experienceOriginally Posted by OhOh
