About like this sans "quality British beef mince". Frozen stuff from macro. It's pretty good. Threw in some mushrooms also.

This is the best bolognaise I ever made, Jamie Oliver's missus sauce

    Jools' Bolognaise Sauce

    Jamie Oliver, The Naked Chef

    1lb/450g best minced beef
8 rashers of smoked bacon sliced and chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
    Level teaspoon salt
    Glass of red wine
    Teaspoon dried oregano
    Tin of tomatoes
Large tube or half a tin of tomato puree (I use loads!)
    Black pepper
    Olive oil
    Handful fresh basil

In a large pan, fry off the minced beef, bacon, onion and
garlic in a tablespoon of olive oil. Add the wine and reduce
to nothing, add the oregano, tinned tomatoes and tomato puree.
I think that the tomato puree is important for flavour and
it thickens the sauce. Add the salt and some freshly ground
black pepper, bring it to the boil and simmer gently for a
couple of hours. Add some ripped up fresh basil just before
    serving.
Serve the sauce with pasta and Parmesan cheese or nice strong
grated cheddar. A green salad is nice with this.

Tuna should be seared and pink in the middle, like steak.

I thought it looked like veal.

It was the best cooked tuna in the world. Since uploading that pic John West has been on the blower with an extremely lucrative offer.

Seriously though - it melted, MELTED, in the mouth.

I reckon that's a pile of mash covered in gravy masquerading as a steak, here's my steak..

Gone for the easy peasy lemon squeesy Steak sandwich tonight.

    1 crispy baguette
    1/4 kilo Steak
    1 Tomato
    wild Rocket
    1" Cucumber
    Some Sweet chilli sauce
    A splattering of light mayo
    Pepper overdose and olive oil.

5 mins frying the steak in olive oil and pepper whilst preparing the side orders and baguette.

Sliced and served with some left over Thai prawn crackers from the wife's lunch banquet with her friends and off course a pork pie.

    Viola..
