I first tried liver, onion, bacon when I was about 40. Fucking love it. It's a pint of guinness AND a viagra on a plate vitamin wise. Lost me liver n onion fryup cherry in udon thani at the Irish clock. It's probably how iceman got married?

Do you remember a much smaller Irish bar a few doors down, opened and ran by an Irish lad named George of all names, had recently retired after 40 years in the Irish army back, hit Pattaya then jumped up to Udon to open a bar, get pissed all day, and big himself up as an ex-army armed robber, around 2006? I imagine you were around 40 at the time. (soz to other readers, not exactly the thread for it)

    I can't stand the stuff.

Although I do enjoy haggis, eating big chunks of liver itself reminds me of chewing on a piece of metal.

    Wartime gear.

Nothing wrong with the LOBO stuff in my opinion.

I bring Thai packets mostly as cheap and easy to carry gifts for family and friends.

I like to get my chef on and cook for others at the same time, Thai food is exotic for them and let's be honest it's fkn easy.

I don't get much chance to cook at home, my Mrs is a chef and the Kitchen is her domain.

I knocked up a red pork stir fry last night, very nice.
    Lang may yer lum reek...

Lambs liver... I can't remember that last time I had lambs liver. I have pig's liver quite often over here but would love some lambs liver.

Same as lamb kidneys. I was raised on grilled lambs kidneys... they must have been cheap back in the 70s but try getting them now!

Steak and kidney pie with with lamb's liver is far superior to steak and kidney pie with with pig's liver.

    I miss those times.

Some Moo Daeng I prepared earlier

    Dinner-img_3112-jpeg

A bag of stir fry mixed veg I bought as is
    Dinner-img_3113-jpeg

Fry up the pork, onions and mushrooms with some olive oil and soy sauce then remove from the pan.
    Dinner-img_3114-jpeg

Get the noodles going in the juices

    Dinner-img_3115-jpeg

Then chuck it all together with some more soy sauce and pepper
    Dinner-img_3116-jpeg

    Job’s a good’n.

Your kitchen must smell like Arsenal.

Looks ok though, but you've gotta eat that with a spoon and fork.

No place for a knife with all that and those annoying peas you suvverners like.
