Oi! Dont get carried away, I said nicely not excellent!
Anyway, you keep cooking steaks like that I might invite you over for a braai and beers!
Nice one Boney, looking forward to some Mac Cheese tonight as it happens.
Mrs was busy in the home bakery making mince n tattie pies yesterday to replenish the bar stocks.
I put too much Bisto granules in the jug and it was thicker than my mate Matty, so added more water and ended up with loads of the stuff.
So I went full TD sent my pie n mash for a swim.
Lovely it was.
Lang may yer lum reek...
Apart from the obvious fact that there were no baked beans for a true American Chow down.
The big white elephant in the room is someone chose mayo and someone chose ketchup solely on the fries!
Surely a good all round American would choose both?
I leave it to our cousins across the pond to clarify this oversight and misdemeanor on the American constitution.
Shalom
Life lessons from Pulp Fiction.
Dryair fried juicy pork shoulder with Cayenne pepper seasoning, fries and salad..
Nice Dirk, I had a great pie in Bath last week, if anyone ever goes to bath, head to The Raven pub for a great pie.
Nice Reg, always a great option during half time!
Nice Joe, is that burger sauce of 1000??
Cast iron pan seared T-bone steak. Nice char on the outside and red inside. Perfection...
Serious looking steak snubby
Finally got around to that Mac n Cheese
^ Am I imagining things or did you mail me a mac n cheese pie before?
I know I got one from somewhere, but perhaps I'm still in carb-overload and cannot remember where.
Nice one Dirk, it definitely makes for a happy ending of the day. Try grating some Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of pepper on top before the final grille. Also, I blend some Colman's mustard powder into the cheese sauce before adding the cheese; gives it a wee kick
One should listen twice as much as one speaks
I did. Macaroni pies are bloody brilliant.
Normally they go in the oven in single serving dishes with different variations. Mine gets mushrooms, onion, mustard, pepper and garlic salt. Not a fan of parmesan.
This was the child proof version, I stirred the mustard, garlic and pepper in after.
Just waiting for my face to thaw out from the dentist before I finish the lot off.
