Fillet steak on spinach, with a Gorgonzola cheese sauce. Simple, quick, and diabetic friendly.
Nice.
Dinner last night was a tuna carpaccio followed by a steak with bone marrow sauce.

That reminds me. I wonder how my ex girlfriend is doing.
Malty Mike's on it again:)
It was amazing!
Keeping the standard of this current page going.
Tonight I had Thai for the first time in a few years, not quiet up there with a green curry on Koh Samui two decades ago but close..brocoli instead of eggplant, point deducted..

It looks like a 2/10
Our Makro hasn't had any lamb for yonks, but it does have tuna steaks.
Served up on a bed of mash.

I had Thai when I was in the UK over the summer. An absolutely beautiful location in the hills near Manchester next to a fly fishing lake (Nev will know it :) )
I think it was run by a British Chinese fella but with Thai chefs. When I got there, I thought they might be Thais, but everyone in the restaurant was speaking Mandarin or Cantonese.
You can imagine how the food turned out. Tasty enough mind, but I'd never had broccoli,,cauliflower and carrots in my green curry or seen my pad krapow stir fried with red peppers and onions!
Unless I cook it myself, I just don't bother with Thai food in the west save for a couple of exceptions that I know of or recommendations from people who have eaten the real deal in Thailand.
Ow wow I had bone marrow years ago the bones cut in half and grilled until it's a liquid then spread on fresh French garlic bread
That shits liquid gold. I imagine it would be fucking awesome as a sauce on the rib eyes
