Never had an issue with bones for my dogs, they know what they're doing.

The saltiness/fishiness might balance with sweetness, maybe you've just come up with a new flavor. You could call it PieCream.

A couple of rib eyes for tonight’s dinner. Season to start with, then viola perfecto! No money shot needed because you know they are medium rare!

It worked well, I dare say, but it was my wife's efforts.

    Very nice Topper!

Tonights traditional English cuisine that will get Headwanks pulse racing...

A giant Cornish pasty on a bed creamy mashed potatoes and baked beans, naturally there's gravy on top...

Those rib eyes sure look good, how long did you cook them on each side? and what is the side dish? Looks like potatoes Au Gratin.
Sadly the whole thing would be lost on my wife and any of her family, She would enjoy a rib eye, but not with any garnish and certainly not the potatoes. They would be polite and eat some of it, but I can tell.
I am getting tired of cooking elaborate meals just for myself.
The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.

Not really, I stopped being shocked at the results of your home cooking long ago.

3 minutes each side for my daughter. then rest 6 minutes.
2.5 minutes per side for mine. also rest 6 minutes.

Potato au gratin, daughter's request (just didn't serve it well, so it all fell apart).

Homemade mushroom and red wine gravy.

It's funny how we make a food and like it only to forget about it for awhile until we are reminded of it again.
Love potatoes au gratin, haven't made it in years. I should give it a try one of these days.
Three minutes on each side, then let it rest , is my preference also .
