She bagsed the chicken

El Maco double burger with taco sauce gets the thumbs up from me

She stuck a spoon in to help me with round 7 of the marathon Dulce De Leche trifle and the Christmas elf showed up with some seasonal assistance with her speeding fine.

Senorita got as far as the first penalty. She remonstrated with Lloris 'you went the wrong way silly!' then flaked out before half time.

Boxing Day with the boys/lads. This was before my homie closed the Italian spot he owns. I got my good eye closed.

Seared me up a salmon steak tonight.

Eating light as the New Years food extravaganza is coming up. Wife and her sisters have it all planned out. Will be way too much food starting Dec 29th and ending Jan 1.

Is an inch thick salmon steak that size really going light?

Very nice. We usually bust one up like that into a salad.

Today was the last day of our Christmas chicken.

I boiled up the carcass, removed the bones and then added a couple of handfuls of 'Scotch Broth' mix and veg. I've been reading about how healthy these legumes are... pearl barley, pulses, dried peas etc etc... My colon will be scoured clean.



The great thing about having such a healthy and nutritious main course is that you can have custard and chocolate pound cake for pudding... guilt free, no problem.

Looks bloody good. Love a good Scotch Broth.

Today was the end of the road for our leftovers too, so I smashed down some roast pork with gravy (after finishing last night’s pizza), the rest got bagged up for sandwiches and chucked in the freezer and the dogs got the turkey carcasses.

I also had pudding, which is not like me at all. Choc-chip ice-cream with Butterscotch syrup.

I've never been a fan of Hollandaise sauce but that's a peronal choice, and apart from that, for me it looks delicious.

I really love oysters but never seem to have the occasion to eat them these days.

I remember back when I was still alive I used to regularly get a plate of oysters and tell my companion what a great aphrodisiac they are... while discreetly nibbling on a little blue pill. Win win, really.
