    If you've pulled it off great BLD. The only beef i put in a slow cooker is Shin, Cheek or Skirt as casserole as they have enough fat or connective tissue to keep moist.

    I've always been quite an instinctive cook and tonight I tried baking portions of salmon on a bed of pak choy.



    It worked OK.

    Cream of mushroom, with added fresh sauted mushrooms, Wooster, seasoning...

    I knew when I posted the picture it looked less than appealing, it was pretty good though.

    Looks pretty bloody good to me, DW.



    We went to a newish restaurant this evening without knowing anything about it. Turned out to be a Thai/Chinese/Muslim kind of affair.

    We Decided on a set meal they had a deal on, at 2,999 baht.


    Crab and fish soup which was more like a lat na gravy kind of broth. Very nice but I didn't sample the fish stomachs that were floating around.
