I reckon they're wrapped up ready to go under the Xmas tree for another crack at the whip.

If you tried folding or wrapping those crusty-looking things, they''d snap in half!

    Meals on wheels Thursday

Senorita Surabaya got me to push my boundaries with a spicy chicken burger (instead of my usual Big Mac with special sauce)

Earlier in the week I completed up to page 17 on her 34 page online Citizenship application (she struggles with written English as she has only been here for 18 years) so now we are doing the Citizenship test practice run.

    Dinner-img_20220923_000855-jpg

She got a reasonable 50% on the first go of the 20 sample questions (best of 3 multiple choice so she did better than a Balinese macaque). We then went over all the wrong answer and corrected them and then she sat the same test again. The 2nd time she got 60%. Luckily we only need to get to 75% to pass. Although I have a feeling the real test may not be the same questions as the online sample, in which case I fear she may be making multiple attempts each of which involves a drive to Brisbane.

I spent 6 years trying to get my ex through the citizen test in the UK.

In the end she just remembered all the thousands of answers and didnt understand the questions.

The test was only 24 questions multiple answers a,b,c,d.

Cost me a fair bit in FLR visas every 2 years.

But fook, Loopers got it right getting paid in Maccies and an occasional bunk up.
    Shalom

    ^ Nice, Looper.

My daughter has joined the girl guides and she wanted to get her 'Northern badge'.

    Just make gravy I says.

This was our delicious Northern meal last night. The timing was difficult without the microwave but I love a challenge.

I eat sprouts with my peas every single day now but have yet to see any tangible health benefits.

It is an omen of ill portent for the test proper that one of the questions she got wrong on the 2nd round was one she got right on the first round, 10 minutes earlier.

Good to see the Mini is getting schooled in the art of gravylicious proper oat cuisine.

I hope you removed the bone before you slammed it in your vulva-esque lamb

Licked clean, after remembering the mint sauce halfway through

Eyes bigger than my belly there, had to put half in the fridge.
But that'll get a good lickin later

No Yorkshire with your dinner, dil?

I've just taken some bratwurst out of the freezer and I'm currently deliberating whether to put an egg with them on my soft baguette or to fry them with some onions and red pepper.

I think it will be the latter with it being evening.

^^ Air fryer for 10 minutes, sprinkle curry powder on them and your pomme frites, then squeeze a load of ketchup on top for a near authentic currywurst.
