    Adarsh in soi 52/2
The one that closed down was on Soi 24/2 (Hua Mak 34). Had the car repair shop and 7/11 on the corner. This soi has now been knocked down a big arsed condo is being erected.

Lamb shanks tonight, braised Mediterranean style...

Served on a bed of mashed potato with seasonal vegetables of the day.

    With optional ratatouille.

    And the money shot.

    ^ looks good.

Still a bit portly round the midriff I'm guessing.

    Slow braised honey ribs.

Not actually dinner, snack for alcohol and watching football.

The key to a good dinner in hot season is do all your preparation before 9am to beat the heat. Then cover and keep in the fridge until time to prepare.

    Stuffed bell peppers.

^That is not me in the shorts Topper

My phone camera has started introducing strange artifacts the past week or so. I think it may be about to shit itself. Good excuse for an upgrade. Had my MiMax 3 for 2 years.

HJL has an amazing camera on her iPhone. 3 lenses and takes stunning photos in any light.

She was flicking through her gallery while she thought I was asleep tonight but I was actually sneakily sneaking a peak at her pics and I saw that the saucy mare had gone out for a walk in the garden in the morning while I was asleep last weekend and took loads of naked selfies in the forest. Now I need tips on how to hack an iPhone while she is currently asleep so I can purloin her amateur pornography.

Did you know that the cephalopod eye is often used as a classic example of convergent evolution.

It has evolved completely independently to the vertebrate's eye, but shows very similar structure.

If she's taking nudes and not sending them to you just what is she doing with them?

Convergent evolution is very interesting and I want to hear God's rejoinder to this further undermining of his great work.

Nick Lanes discusses octopus eyes in his book Life Ascending: The 10 Great Inventions of Evolution.

He also describes experiments that have been done involving wiring up the retina of an octopus to an optical stimulus with colours and pulsing rhythms and how they can be used to control the colour and patterning on the octopus. Sounds like a fun laboratory experiment.

I am not sure Nids. If the pics were taken in my garden does that not entitle me to some small degree of proprietary rights or at least an entitled peek?

Maybe I should have broken cover and asked her to send me one. But it would have been a gamble. I might not have seen the whole collection if she knew I was peeking while faking snoring noises.
